Last year YTB Plumbing through our annual charity event – the Keal’s Cup – a fundraiser dedicated to raising awareness around mental health in honour of Director Peter Bond’s late friend Jason Keals.

The day was an enormous success with approximately 250 people in attendance and 20 local Gold Coast companies battling it out for the prestigious cup.

Due to everyone involved on the day and our generous sponsors – over $40,000 was raised and donated to help save lives and spread awareness about men’s mental health.

As part of the Keal’s Cup raffle prizes, our team stepped up and donated a full day’s work with 2 machines, 3 trucks, and 5 of our best men. The lucky winner called the team out to fix a long-standing stormwater issue on this rural country property.

Installed 100 meters of new 100mm stormwater line, laid 100 meters of power to support future site upgrades, connected the new system to the existing rainwater tanks, and ensured efficient drainage to prevent future flooding issues.

Leading the charge was Swanny, our #1 operator, who put on a clinic during the backfill process, ensuring everything was completed to the highest standard. The final touch? A flawless turf reinstatement, leaving the property looking better than ever.
