81 SALERNO ST SURFERS PARADISE

ROAD CROSSING, CUT IN, WATER METER, MANHOLE, STORMWATER

PROJECT DETAILS

At YTB Plumbing, we’re no strangers to complex civil plumbing works, and our recent project at 81 Salerno St, Surfers Paradise, was no exception.

Engaged by Greyburn Building Contractors, we played a key role in delivering critical infrastructure for this landmark 48-luxury-villa development on a 1.2ha site, the largest residential project in the suburb in 30+ years.

YTB were engaged to complete 30m, 150mm road crossing for key water infrastructure, a DN 375mm water cut-in during a 5-hour network shutdown, water meter installations, a 2.4m deep stormwater manhole in water-charged ground, a 450mm stormwater connection into the boundary, and full road reinstatement.

This project required after-hours work due to its location on one of the Gold Coast’s busiest roads also within a strict 5-hour network shutdown period.

The 30m road crossing expert traffic management, while the water cut-in had to be executed overnight within a strict 5-hour network shutdown. Additionally, constructing a deep stormwater manhole in water-charged ground under Elliot St added another layer of complexity.

Our team successfully delivered all water, sewer, and stormwater connections while minimising disruption to the public and project with coordination of both night and day shits whilst ensuring compliance with council requirements.

If you're looking for reliable, experienced Gold Coast civil plumbers – YTB Plumbing specialise in council infrastructure, delivering high quality civil water, sewer, and stormwater connections for builders, developers, and local engineers.

"As part of YTB plumbing work’s for the new development, the team at YTB plumbing successfully completed the civil services connection which involved the significant coordination of existing services with state/local authorities and other external stakeholders by taking a lead role in assisting in the development of feasible design with mitigated inground design risks. Their continued unrelenting commitment to their work is evident by their proactive approach to getting the job completed regardless of the obstacles and challenges ahead – all whilst having a smile on their faces.
