2024 TAFE QLD HARMONY DAY
YTB SUPPORTING TAFE QLD
2024 HARMONY DAY
YTB Plumbing once again made a significant impact at this year's Harmony Day event at TAFE QLD. Continuing their tradition of community engagement, YTB Plumbing brought their fire trucks and set up an informative stand to highlight the world of civil plumbing and the vast career opportunities available in this field. The event attracted hundreds of students and teachers, eager to learn about water supply, drainage, and sewage management from industry professionals.
This year's event provided an excellent platform for students to gain insights into the civil plumbing industry and explore various career paths. YTB Plumbing's presence was invaluable, offering students a chance to understand the skills and knowledge required for a successful career in plumbing. Representatives Peter and Cody were on hand to answer questions, providing guidance and inspiration to those considering a future in this vital industry.
In addition to their educational efforts, YTB Plumbing hosted the popular ultimate tradesman competition once again. This interactive event tested participants' plumbing skills, with the coveted limited edition YTB hard hat awarded to the winner. The competition was a major hit, drawing enthusiastic participation from both students and teachers. It offered a unique opportunity for attendees to demonstrate their plumbing abilities and learn from the experienced YTB Plumbing team.
The buzz created by the competition and the allure of the limited edition YTB hard hat added to the excitement of the day. This engaging activity underscored YTB Plumbing's commitment to promoting trades and creating opportunities for young people to pursue rewarding careers in plumbing.
YTB Plumbing's contribution to the TAFE QLD Harmony Day event was once again a resounding success. Their efforts to educate and inspire students and teachers about the civil plumbing industry were greatly appreciated. Moreover, their emphasis on inclusivity and cultural diversity in the workplace resonated with the community, making the event a celebration of the rich diversity at the Acacia Ridge TAFE campus.
Client Testimonial
"As a company that’s been established on the Gold Coast for 15 plus years, it’s always been hard to find a level of service that Pete from YTB gives with the civil connections. We’ve been using YTB for nearly 5 years now and couldn’t recommend the team enough. From Low-risk connections to intricate OPW sewer diversions on main road corridors, the team at YTB seem to get it done without any hassles or issues. YTB’s relationship with all third-party entities on all civil connections are very close and well respected which is defiantly a reflection of the high level of professionalism and attention to detail on every job they have completed for us whether it be big or small. As YTB is a family owned and operated company it’s not uncommon to call the office to be redirected to peter the owner who will be onsite with his team and still take the time to discuss future works. It’s this reason YTB is our only choice when it comes to civil connections."
