WATER MAIN UPGRADE

YTB were recently engaged for this high risk water connection which invoked a large 500mm Cut in. The connection was approx. 12 meters long and had 4 large water meters coming off it.
Being a council main we had a strict timeline that we had to complete the connection so the water could be turned back on. During that time our scope consisted of the removal of the exiting 500mm Asbestos pipe, installing the new 500mm DICL pipe and fittings, pouring all thrust blocks, taking the new service lines to inside the boundary and installing water meters. All works were completed in 2 shifts and water was turned back on well before the due time.
