Completing my apprenticeship down in Melbourne through the Master Plumbers Association, I’ve always had a passion for civil infrastructure works, having now been a passionate civil plumber for over 20 years.

Moving to the Gold Coast and starting YTB Plumbing, I began doing a lot of smaller sewer and water connections by myself as the typical ‘Aussie battler’ working out of the Hilux, hand digging everything, and just doing as much as I could with a shovel and a positive attitude.

As we grew, the team began to expand, we bought excavators, fire trucks, tippers and have built a fierce reputation for being SEQ’s most trusted civil connection specialists – a title we don’t take lightly.

As the only company focused solely on connections, this is what we live and breathe. We specialise in connecting with the city’s infrastructure, so sewer, water, and stormwater connections – that’s our bread and butter. Whether it be constructing a manhole, a live water sewer connection, a stormwater diversion, asbestos pipe removal or directional drilling – YTB has you covered!

For us, it’s more than just picking up a set of plans, rocking up unprepared to your job site, and just hoping everything ‘works out on the day’. We take all the logistics, paperwork, and planning extremely serious and take all the responsibility out of your hands so you don’t have to worry about it. We’ll organise any council permits, traffic control, approval letters, inspections and project completion reports with all necessary quality and assurance certificates required, we’ll turn up prepared with all the right gear and materials, and we’ll deliver our work without error, backfill, clean up, and reinstate any footpaths, roads (even re-lay turf) - doing whatever it takes to get the job done at the highest standard you deserve.
